Body Armour.
We understand the physiological and anatomical changes during youth development. This component assists in the developing of fundamental skills for strength and as a result, the clients become less injury prone. We understand our clients' passion and goals - supporting them with the four principles of fitness.
Understanding the importance between developing and training a young person is important compared to an adult when it comes to physical and mental development. It is also important to recognise the difference in adolescent boys and girls. The menstruation cycle plays a vital role in female development during growth spurts . They can become stronger than boys and also have low self esteem of themselves.

Under our Armour.
We provide knowledge in relation to the importance of eating the right nutrition that forms our balanced diet which supports our mindset and well-being .
We look at the six basic nutrients that are required for your child to flourish in youth development and how to encourage and change eating habits .
We raise awareness that teenage girls have a nutritional short fall between ages 11 yrs and 19 yrs . All minerals and vitamins are important to keep healthy and prevent chronic diseases.
We encourage our children to be active and at UTHFiTT we look at Athletic Energy Deficit (AED) .This is the gap in energy during growth spurts in pre - youth development. Due to insufficient energy, the body shuts down and slows bone growth and the reproductive system.

STRONG is a unique part of our programme because we understand that sport can cause, cure or exacerbate well-being . Using our knowledge, we use a variety of low impact exercise stations to support our clients' development and reduce overuse injuries. We also have awareness of growth spurts and adapt exercises accordingly to the individual. We understand that being active increases the chances of sustaining an injury and this is why we also include the psychological aspects of sport injury . We also provide pathways to support their recovery if and when needed.
Jon has proved invaluable .My son was involved in a serious knee injury during a rugby tackle. His injury had a large impact on him as he could not play his beloved sport. Jon has given him immense support and helped him bring his confidence back. His experience in working with young people and his total selfless commitment has ensured that my son has remained positive. Without the support my son would not have remained positive and focused returning back to his sport stronger.
